The Field Target shooting, a hunting simulation with air rifles, has its completely special attractions.
There are different match classes, the most expenditure one is the class of the compressed air rifles up to 17 Joules muzzle energy. Here very high demands are made to the weapon, the optics, the shooter and not least the pellets. To hit the "hit-zone" with its diameter of only 45 mm on a distance of up to 50 meters it requires a very precise pellet.
Many years ago H&N developed special pellets for this kind of sport. Particularly the "Field Target Trophy" and "Baracuda / Baracuda Match". The Field Target Trophy has a somewhat lower weight which leads to a more flat trajectory, however the aim energy of the Baracuda is somewhat higher. We offer the Field Target Trophy pellets in calibre 4,5 mm in the head sizes 4,50 mm, 4,51 mm and 4,52 mm, the Baracuda Match pellets in the head sizes 4,49 mm, 4,50 mm, 4,51 mm, 4,52 mm and 4,53 mm. Thus enables to determine the optimal fitting pellet for each weapon.
